The Scooter Brown Country Jam for the Vets will be raising money for 501c3 non profit organizations, Base Camp 40 Warriors In The Wild as well as Warriors and Quiet Waters. Both organizations use the great outdoors as a form of therapy and rehab for combat veterans. Proceeds from this event will be split 50/50 with both organizations. Live music, food & auction items. The young frontman of Scooter Brown is an Iraq war veteran--having completed one tour of combat duty as a U.S. Marine. When faced with the daunting decision to either reenlist or pursue music, Brown chose to trade in his rifle for a guitar and put together a band with some of the best musicians Texas has to offer.
